Hundreds of people turned out yesterday to walk in support of the cancer charity Pals.

It was the island’s 28th annual “Walk With Me for Cancer Care”, which raised more than $20,000 last year.

The yearly walk is a major fundraiser for Pals, with proceeds going towards much needed medical care, equipment and supplies for cancer patients in Bermuda.

Sponsored by Clarien Bank and Colonial Insurance, this year’s walk took participants through a few new routes.

Walkers also got a welcome break from rain, with cool, bright skies prevailing.
