Children flying high after kite gift
More than 200 students from TN Tatem Middle School have been given a kite in time for the Pembroke Hamilton Club’s community fun day on Good Friday.
The kites were donated by Deloitte and presented during a morning assembly.
Anna Burns, a partner at Deloitte, said: “At Deloitte in Bermuda, we believe in the importance of making an impact that matters in our communities — not only as individuals, but also as an organisation.
“When businesses and communities work together, the confidence and trust at the foundation of a healthy society are strengthened.
“We are delighted to support this year’s community fun day and commend the Pembroke Hamilton Club for their efforts in bringing people together. We also thank Principal McMahon and TN Tatem Middle School for inviting us to speak at their assembly and for hosting PHC’s Good Friday event once again.”
Jonathan Ball, PHC president, said: “PHC is delighted and thankful to partner with Deloitte and TN Tatem Middle School as we get ready for the Good Friday holiday.
“It is truly powerful when the corporate sector gets involved with the community and we look forward to this relationship growing from strength to strength.”
