Woman injured in Devonshire crash

A woman who crashed into a tree in Devonshire this afternoon is being treated in hospital.

According to a police spokesman, first responders were sent to the single-vehicle accident on Devonshire Bay Road at about 12.50pm.

“Details are limited at this time,” he said.” However, it appears that a car collided with a tree, resulting in the female driver being injured.

“She was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment. Initial information suggests that her injuries are not life-threatening.

“Traffic was temporarily diverted away from the area as inquiries commenced,” the spokesman added.

Witnesses are urged to contact police on the main telephone number 295-0011.
