Concern over low-flying aircraft

Members of the public called police today to report aircraft flying at low altitude over the island.

Further inquiries with the airport duty officer revealed that the aircraft in question were two military jets.

Both jets had permission from the Department of Civil Aviation to conduct low-altitude circuits over Bermuda.
