The Bermuda Police Service impounded a marine vessel in the early hours of Sunday, after noticing “specific irregularities”.

Officers were acting on information received from HM Customs, a spokesman said.

“As this is an active investigation, no further information will be given at this time while preliminary enquiries are being made,” he added.
