Meetings will discuss mixed status families

In consultation: Francis Patton Primary School is the venue for the first public meeting about mixed status families arranged by the Consultative Immigration Reform Working Group

A series of public meetings on the topic of mixed status families have been arranged by the Consultative Immigration Reform Working Group.

The group, which is examining immigration policy in the light of protests sparked by the controversial Pathways to Status legislation, is inviting people to the following forums:

• Tuesday, July 19, at Francis Patton Primary School

• Wednesday, July 20, at Berkeley Institute

• Thursday, July 21, at Dalton E. Tucker Middle School

All meetings will be from 6pm to 8pm.

Anyone unable to attend can make submissions via a drop-box on the ground floor of the Government Administration Building on Parliament Street, by calling 500-4664 or e-mailing immigrationbda@gmail.com.
