Reports integral for the proposed redevelopment at LF Wade International Airport have been issued by the Bermuda Government.

The Ministry of Finance, along with the Ministry of Tourism, Transport and Municipalities, encouraged the public to examine the overall business case for the project, which comes with a summary report offering an overview.

The report addresses both the entrustment requirements set by the Foreign Commonwealth Office, and the gaps identified in the May 2015 report issued by Deloitte.

Also issued was a value for money assessment from the independent transport consultancy firm Steer Davies Gleave, which compares the project with similar public-private partnership arrangements.

According to a Government spokesman, that assessment concludes that “overall the project achieves value for money for the people of Bermuda”.

The reports are available online at the Government portal, www.gov.bm/airport-redevelopment-project-arp.
