Earl of Wessex to visit island

Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, is scheduled to call on Bermuda next month, in what Government House described as a working visit on behalf of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Bermuda.

The Earl will be on the island from March 3 to 5, to visit schools and present Gold Awards.

He will attend a gala event as well as a 50th anniversary church service, all involving the awards. The Earl will also pay a visit to the America's Cup facilities in Dockyard.

Further details will be issued nearer the time of the visit.
