Overnight robbery reported at East End
A 24-year-old man was robbed of his motorcycle, along with jewellery, after being accosted by two men on Sunday on St David's Road.
The Hamilton Parish resident was driving near the junction with Dolly's Bay Road when two unknown men on another motorcycle knocked him to the ground, sometime between 8.45pm and 9pm.
Police described the stolen vehicle as a white Honda Scoopy bearing licence plate CH 468.
The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, and later discharged.
Inquiries continue and any witnesses or persons that may have seen two men dressed in black on a motorcycle acting suspiciously in the area of St David's Road and Dolly's Bay Road in St George's on Sunday night should contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744, or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline, 800-8477.
