A man in Paget suffered head and hand injuries after falling from a ladder this afternoon.

According to Acting Lieutenant Russann Francis of the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, firefighters responded to a report of an industrial accident on Bostock Hill before 5pm.

“It was reported that a male in his sixties fell approximately 20ft off a ladder, struck his head and sustained a deformity to his left hand.

“The Fire Service responded to the incident with two vehicles and four emergency medical technicians who quickly assessed the patient to ascertain his injuries.”

The injured man was reportedly taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
