Motorcyclist stable after crash with car

A 30-year-old Pembroke man injured in a motorcycle crash over the weekend remains in hospital.

It stems from an in-town crash involving a car at the junction of Elliot and Union streets at around 12.10am on Saturday.

As of this morning, police said the man remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Additionally, police provided an update on a second unrelated in-town crash that also happened on Saturday.

The two-car collision took place at Church and Court streets shortly after 4pm.

Two women — a 55-year-old St George’s resident and a 58-year-old Southampton resident — were injured as a result and were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both have since been released, police said.

Inquiries into both collisions continue. Anyone with information is asked to telephone police on 295-0011.
