Newsrack: hearing is believing
We hope the revamped E-edition of The Royal Gazette will be music to the ears of our many subscribers, and that many more will be encouraged to get on board HMS RG as we broaden the user experience of our journalism across all platforms.
Existing subscribers will not be required to re-register to gain access; your usernames and passwords have been retained.
The audio feature that allows for the news to be read out loud is but one of a number of bells and whistles that have been added to Newsrack in the expectation of adding to the customer experience.
Also introduced are:
• A simplified search engine
• More intuitive navigation
• Cleaner layout
The Newsrack package is wrapped neatly within the new Royal Gazette app, which launches later today, bringing you the very best local news stories and features on your favourite device.
View real-time updates and the daily print edition all in one app, with templates tailored for tablets and smartphones.
The app uses multi-touchscreen features to provide fast and easy navigation.
The print edition lets you read the newspaper in multiple ways and includes the ability to download and save individual articles or pages to enjoy offline, and when you are on the go.
Search for keywords relating to recent content and keep your friends up to date with all the latest shared news from The Royal Gazette.
The app will be free to download.
