Postal staff to discuss service’s future

Post offices will close tomorrow at 1pm for a mandatory staff meeting to hear of “proposed plans for the evolution of services” from Lovitta Foggo, the government reform minister.

The main office and all sub offices will resume service at regular hours on Friday.

According to a statement issued this afternoon, the ministry is “in the process of strategic planning and input from those who work for the BPO is vitally important to the process”.
