A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash with two cars and a wall in Hamilton Parish last night.

The incident happened on North Shore Road, near Shelly Bay, at about 9.10pm.

Police said the rider, a 40-year-old man, was travelling east when he collided with the two vehicles travelling the other way, near the junction with Commonland Point Road. He then hit a wall.

The motorcyclist was badly hurt and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Both car drivers escaped serious injury.

Witnesses should call police on 295-0011.
