Ethiopian archbishop to give lecture

The Archbishop of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the Caribbean and Latin America will deliver a lecture tonight on early Christianity.

Archbishop Abune Thaddeus and Kes Gebre Amlak Matas, a priest from Trinidad & Tobago, will speak at Debre Genet Emmanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Both men arrived in Bermuda on Tuesday.

The public have been invited to attend the talk, to be held at the church on Military Road, opposite East End Primary, in St George's, from 6pm to 9pm.

The archbishop will also attend a Mass at the church on Sunday morning at 8.30am before he leaves on Sunday.
