Work at King Street car park
The City of Hamilton advises that work will begin on the installation of the ticket/barrier system at the King Street car park on Tuesday, June 18th. This is part of the ongoing initiative, started in 2017, to install the system in all of the City-owned car parks.
The car park will be closed during the construction which is estimated to last for four weeks. Once reopened the lot will continue to offer both short and long-term parking options to motorists. The refurbished lot will include a new concrete entrance as well as aesthetically pleasing light fixtures.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused during this necessary upgrade. Signage and barriers will be in place throughout the project. Any questions regarding the project may be directed to Charles Waters, Assistant City Engineer, at cwaters@cityhall.bm.
