Women get some help

The Island’s women cricketers will continue preparations for their World Cup qualifiers in Pakistan later this year with a former West Indies women’s captain returning to Bermuda to help them.

Ann Browne-John, who is the International Cricket Council’s technical advisor on women’s cricket for the Americas region and was last on the Island in May, will be here again for 10 days to assist national women’s coach Allan Douglas.

The girls will train every day while she’s here and will also be involved in the Sir Henry Tucker Under-15 Triangular Tournament, as they seek regular match practice prior to their crucial assignments in Lahore this November.
