Preparations are underway for the 2007 Pan-Am Games Opening Ceremony at the Maracan|0xe3| Stadium in Rio, Brazil. Bermuda are taking a squad of 20 athletes, competing in eight different sports, to the showpiece event.
This year's competition will see 5,500 athletes from 42 countries compete in 33 different sports. It runs from July 13 until 29.Don't miss The Royal Gazette's daily coverage of the Games.
