Vasco stay top after narrow win
Vasco continue to stay top of the Corona League standings after a hard-earned 3-2 win over West End United at BAA Field at the weekend.
Having taken what looked like a comfortable 3-1 lead, the leaders were made to sweat after their opponents snatched a late goal from the penalty spot, and missed a golden opportunity to grab a share of the spoils in injury time.
Tuff Dogs stay on the heels of Vasco after a comfortable 3-0 win over Lobster Pot, and could go top when they play their game in hand thanks to a vastly superior goal difference.
Valley won the match of unbeatens as they saw off BAA 2-1 to go third in the table.
Fire FC and St. David's shared the points after a 2-2 draw, while Prison Officers and MR Onions also drew 1-1.
