Breaking News: Bermuda struggling on 126-8
7.20am: Thirty overs gone and Bermuda are 126-8, it’ all about batting for as long as possible right now. Malachi Jones and Jordan Desilva seem settled so far, but with all the batsmen failing, any score over 150 now will be a bonus.
6.55am: Wicket. Two balls after Justin Pitcher brings up the hundred with a big six, he goes for another big hit off Sarel Burger and is caught at long-off by Louis Burger. 104-7
6.39am: Wicket. No big innings from Irving Romaine today as he slashes at a ball short and wide outside off stump and is caught at second slip. This game could be over very quickly. Bermuda 80-6.
6.28am: Wicket. Outerbridge wafts at a ball outside off stump and is caught behind for 22. Bermuda 76-4, 19 overs gone.
6.21am: Stephen Outerbridge and Jekon Edness have steadied the ship and are looking solid. After he first couple of let offs, Outerbridge is looking in good nick, as is Edness, who has batted well on tour so far, but has been getting himself out in silly fashion. Bermuda 73-3.
6.02am: Wicket. Sarel Burger replaces Andre Olewagen for the start of the 14 over. and gets David Hemp first ball. Hemp is out pushing forward, Bermuda 60-3.
Bermuda are lucky to still only be three, down Hemp and Outerbridge have both been dropped in the past few overs.
5.46am: Ten overs gone, and Bermuda are 39-2, and they should be three down. Outerbridge is dropped in the slips by Louis Burger. Namibia aren’t bowling that well, out of Bermuda’s total, 15 have been wides.
5.36am: Wicket. Another run out, that’s three too many on tour for Bermuda. Hemp lofts the ball towards the mid-off boundary and he and Foggo run two, Hemp is going for a third, Foggo hesitates, and is run out despite a full-length dive. 35-2.
5.18am: Wicket. An over after Chris Foggo is dropped by Sarel Burger at mid-off, Crockwell is out caught and bowled by Christie Viljoen. Bermuda 21-1, five overs gone.
4.56am: Christie Viljoen opens the bowling for Namibia, and Fiqre Crockwell is off the mark, first ball. Good solid opening over from Viljoen, and plenty of short stuff aimed at Chris Foggo.
4.30am: Bermuda win the toss, again, that makes David Hemp 4-0 for the tour. This time Hemp opts to bat, maybe taking into account the problems with the rain yesterday. Remember, batting second, Bermuda were forced to start in the rain on a damp pitch.
4.15am: Were back at Gemsbokpark in Windhoek for the second one day game between Namibia and Bermuda. Both sides have made changes to their line-ups.
For Bermuda, bowler Stefan Kelly, who has a slight back problem, is left out, along with Shannon Rayner, and in their place, Jim West and Jordan Desilva get their first starts of the tour.
Namibia meanwhile have opted to drop the Groenewald brothers Willem and Pieter, and bring back Louis Burger and Andre Olenwagen.
