Kenny Thompson has quit as coach of Somerset Eagles and resigned as a teacher from CedarBridge Academy to become BAA’s new Director of Football.

Thompson was confirmed in the new full time role at a press conference 40 minutes ago, and will begin work immediately.

"Our vision is to develop a comprehensive multidisciplinary football academy for long term player development," said Thompson. "I look forward to working with the club’s leadership, players, coaches and parents."
