Breaking News:Thompson to take charge at BAA

Kenny Thompson has quit as coach of Somerset Eagles and will be unveiled as BAA’s new manager later today, The Royal Gazette understands.

The First Division club have called a press conference at their home ground for mid-day, where Thompson is expected to be officially confirmed in his new role.

It represents something of a come down for the former Bermuda national coach, who guided Eagles to sixth in their first season back in the Premier Division last season.

BAA in contrast finished second bottom in the First Division, only winning three league games all season.
