Dandy Town v

Devonshire Cougars

League leaders Dandy Town have been unstoppable as of late and will be looking to distance themselves from the chasing pack at St. John’s Field.

A win over the defending champions will see them extend their lead to seven points over tomorrow’s opponents and see Cougars’ repeat title dreams quickly diminishing.

Having the ability to dominate games for long spells has been the reason why Hornets are doing so well and they will need to show the same intensity they have displayed during the past month if they are to take three points.

Cougars, on the other hand, need a result to keep within touching distance of the leaders.

They have their fate in their own hands and they need to limit their mistakes if the result is to go their way.

Prediction: 2-2

North Village v Hamilton Parish

Having put themselves in prime position to make a serious charge at the league title, the Rams will not be looking to drop unexpected points at Bernard Park.

They have flown under the radar for much of the season and have a chance to go top, depending on how Dandy Town get on.

The whole side is scoring goals and Shaun Goater’s men seem to be gathering momentum at just the right time.

In Parish, they will come up against a side that have plenty of promise going forward but often get caught on the break.

Regardless of their league position, the Hot Peppers have the ability to cause an upset but they will need to draw on all their experience and determination.

Prediction: Village 2-0

Devonshire Colts v

Southampton Rangers

It’s another crucial game for Colts as they look to keep clear of the relegation zone at Devonshire Rec.

They have lost their last two games but haven’t dropped any positions as those teams around them have also lost.

But they will have their hands full with a resurgent Rangers’ side.

Rangers won the derby against PHC to move themselves within distance of the top spot and if results go their way they could be sitting as high as third by the end of the weekend.

Prediction: Rangers 3-1

Somerset Trojans v PHC

Despite their loss to Dandy Town two weeks ago, PHC bounced back with a straightforward win over Colts in their last outing and will be looking for a better result against Somerset the second time around.

The first encounter ended in a 2-2 draw and with both sides needing points to help out in their respective causes, this match could go either way.

Trojans will need to make the most of every chance they get at Somerset Cricket Club.

Prediction: 1-1

Somerset Eagles v Boulevard

These are two of the most unpredictable teams in the league and both need to win to get their seasons back on track at White Hill Field.

Eagles have been levelled by suspensions and injuries while Boulevard just can’t seem to win.

With both teams now on the outskirts of the title race looking in, the losers will have to think about cutting their ambitions short.

Boulevard were top just two weeks ago, but back-to-back losses have seen them drop down the line.

The last encounter saw fireworks all over the park when Boulevard ended Eagles’ early season unbeaten streak.

Prediction: 2-2
