Bermuda beat Cayman

Bermuda booked a berth in the semi-finals of the ICC Intercontinental Cup in Namibia today as they inflicted an innings defeat on the Cayman Islands.

The Caymans team was all out for a meagre 85 by lunchtime at the Toronto Cricket Club as any hopes of a fightback from their 50-4 overnight score were quickly erased by the magical spin of Dwayne Leverock.

Leverock took five wickets today to add to the one he took yesterday to finish with astonishing figures of 16-6 off 12 overs.

Kevin Hurdle, who took the other wicket today, ended with three wickets for 68 runs, while Hasan Durham bowled a wicket maiden in his only over.

Cayman, a late call-up to the tournament when USA withdrew, lost by an innings and 105 runs and now face Canada for the wooden spoon while Bermuda book their tickets for Namibia.
