Bermuda set Canada big target

Janeiro Tucker steered Bermuda to a big total with his 126 runs.

Bermuda were all out for 311 on the third and final day of their ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Canada, and soon had the home team reeling at 13-3.

Janeiro Tucker continued his searing form with 120 before being the last man to fall as Bermuda set Canada a target of 222 just after lunch.

Earlier, he continued his partnership with Dean Minors (66) before the wicketkeeper was out lbw to Don Maxwell with the score on 235-6.

Hasan Durham (7) and Jacobi Robinson (1) came and went quickly before Tucker teamed up with fellow ICC Trophy hero Dwayne Leverock for a 27-run ninth wicket stand.

Tucker and Kevin Hurdle advanced the score to 311 before the Bermuda vice captain was bowled by Henry Osinde.

Canada were soon in trouble in their second innings with openers Zubin Surkari and Pubudu Dassanayake out respectively for one to Hurdle and a duck to Saleem Mukkudem.

Don Maxwell lashed 12 of the team's 13-run total before falling to Hurdle.
