Bermuda walks off

Bermuda's final tour match ended in controversy as coach Gus Logie took his players off the field after a succession of short deliveries to tail end batsmen.

With Hasan Durham and Kevin Hurdle batting and the score on 197-7, Bermuda effectively conceded defeat with 13.2 overs and just two wickets in hand remaining in the 50-over one day match.

A furious Logie asked his players to leave the field "for their own safety" after tailender Hurdle was subjected to three short pitched bouncers in succession from Namibian strike bowler Kola Burger.

11.17: The team is dying a slow death, battling away on 161-5 after 32 overs and needing another 228 to win at around 12.5 an over.

Dean Minors, 26, and Hasan Durham, 24, are digging in but have too much still to do.

10.46: Victory now appears to be beyond Bermuda, losing Lionel Cann for a quick 20 and Stephen Outerbridge for 31.

They are now limping along on 106-5 from 22 overs.

9.30: Bermuda are in deep trouble again in their second one-day match against Namibia.

Big centuries from Kola and JB Burger helped Namibia to an incredible 388 all out.

And it could have been worse, with the hosts reaching 317-3 after just 36 overs before Hasan Durham took four wickets in a mini collapse which reduced the young side to 388 all out.

And Bermuda have got off to the worst possible start, losing both openers, Kwame Tucker retired hurt for just two and Curtis Jackson going for his second duck of the tour to leave Bermuda floundering at 9-1 after three overs with two new batsmen at the crease.
