Blake Marshall will be aiming to win his fifth consecutive, and sixth overall, Men?s Invitation title at Mid Ocean Club today when he takes on Hav Trott in the final of the match play event.

Marshall defeated Ricky Cox three and one in yesterday?s semi-final whileTrott booked his place in today?s championship match by narrowly defeating medallist Robert Vallis one-up.

The Senior Division final will be contested between visitors Art Bemis and Ray Daue.

Bemis, who earlier ousted defending champion Eddie Marshall, got past Loren Singletary at the final hole, while Daue topped medallist Frederick Smith three and two in the other semi-final.

The annual tournament got underway on Monday with a qualifying round which involved 84 players ? 29 in the Open Division and 55 in the Senior Division.
