Bermuda need 243 to win their first practice matche against a Sinoville Invitational XI in Pretoria this afternoon.

Chris Foggo and Fiqre Crockwell made a strong start in reply to Sinoville's 242, with Foggo racing to 20 in double quick time.

Earlier, Malachi Jones was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers, taking three for 45 in 10 overs.

Stefan Kelly and Rodney Trott also weighed in with two wickets apiece, on a tough day when a flat track, and hot temperatures made life difficult for the bowlers.

Still with Sinoville reeling at 53 for five, it looked like being a short day in the field for the tourists.

But a fine 82 from middle order batsman Steff LeRoux, ably supported by Alex van der Merwe (34) and Ryan Steede (37) set Sinoville on their way to a competitive total.
