A fine all-round performance by PHC skipper Ellsworth Bean wasn?t sufficient to prevent them from losing to Devonshire Rec. by 27 runs at Devonshire yesterday.

Bean took four wickets for 58 off eight overs as Devonshire still amassed over 300 runs.

Wendell Swan struck 56 while skipper Winston Trott followed on 46 not out to lead the onslaught by the Devonshire bats.

Opener Ricardo Brangman jr also scored 46 while Dean Stephens struck 38, Caldon Grimes 37 and Joshua Butler 26.

Also among the wickets for PHC were Charles Simons with two for 34 off 10 overs and Cal Waldron two for 53 off 10 overs.

PHC skipper Bean followed his impressive bowling spell by scoring 73 to lead his team?s batting. Others among the runs were Jeremy Fray with 61, Sheridan Ming 32, Ty Williams 19 and Cal Waldron 14.

Omar Amory took two for 19 off 2.2 overs, Derek Brangman two for 34 off five overs and Phillip Thomas two for 70 off 10 overs.
