Central America here we come . . .

I'm surprised they only got seven, but it was still a good result for Bermuda against Montserrat.I was thinking that they would get at least ten, but you can't be upset with a 20-0 aggregate win. Keeping another clean sheet is always going to be good for confidence and I think the boys will have taken a lot from their trip.

I was thinking that they would get at least ten, but you can't be upset with a 20-0 aggregate win. Keeping another clean sheet is always going to be good for confidence and I think the boys will have taken a lot from their trip.

And now we have to start thinking about El Salvador.

There is no better way to prepare for big games than to have as many warm-up games as possible and playing Haiti or Barbados, or whoever it will be, is a good thing.

But the game that will be of most benefit will be the trip to Nicaragua.

They will be very similar to El Salvador in many ways and it is the ideal preparation for the World Cup.

The climate, the fans, the style of play will all be very similar, so it will be a good way of preparing.

We are right to be going there and I know the players will get enormous benefits from it.

It is difficult for me to say how things are going to go against El Salvador.

I am sure Kenny Thompson has done his preparation and homework on them, but I know very little about them. I haven't seen or heard that much about their team nor have I come across any El Salvadorians playing in the UK.

But what I remember from when we played them a few years back is that they were head and shoulders ahead of us.

They were skilful with good individual technique and could really hurt you when they had time on the ball.

I think that in Bermuda our level of football has stood still since then and if their's has moved on, then it really is going to be tough.

The best way to play against teams like that is to really get in their faces and hurry them, put them under pressure and stop them playing with the time they are used to.

You need a certain arrogance when you take on teams that are stronger than you, and I think Bermuda has that.

I don't mean an arrogance in the way of shouting about how good you are, I mean more about having the arrogance to do certain things with the ball and have the confidence say 'we can beat you and I am going to let my feet do the talking'.

Playing the away leg first really makes no difference.

We have never been a team to really take advantage of being at home and I think the game will be evenly-fought wherever we play it.

Here in England, the next two games couldn't be any bigger.

We have Coventry on Saturday and then West Ham the next week, live on Sky Sports, and these games are vital for us.

There are ten games left and we are in sixth place and we don't want to be giving it up. When you get down to the last few games, teams make it very difficult for you to overtake them, so we need to be going into the run-in where we are.

We need a good result on Saturday to give us the confidence going into the TV game.

When you play in the Premiership, you get used to the cameras because they are there all the time ? you even forget about them a little bit.

But in Division One, it is different and the TV games are quite a big deal.

You feel that you want to put in that bit extra because you don't know who could be watching and you want the public to see really how good you are.

There are always a few nerves, but I think that helps you. You want to go into games a little nervous, it helps you focus and put in the right sort of performance.

I get nervous even now and I think that is a good thing for my game.
