Raymond Beach tore the heart out of PHC when he scored twice to lead visiting Cougars to this slim Premier Division victory at Southampton Oval yesterday.

The result means that Cougars, who entered the day tied second on points with PHC, now hold down second alone while PHC slip to fourth.

Trailing to a goal by Zebras forward Omar Shakir after 22 minutes, Beach drew the teams level with a blast from close in after 44 minutes and then came up with what proved to be the clincher after 76 minutes.

In a game that lacked flowing, penetrating moves for any sustained period, PHC unlocked Cougars? defence to take the lead when Shakir fired home a left-footed drive on the turn from 16 yards.
