Colts crush Peppers

Birthday boy Jason Dill helped himself to four goals as Devonshire Colts continued their steady march towards the First Division championship with a lopsided 8-0 win over Hamilton Parish yesterday.

Dill converted in the fourth, 36th, 65th and 90th minutes to mark his 20th birthday in style.

Others getting in on the scoring act were Geron Trott (32nd and 45th minutes), Shannon Burgess (26th) and teenager Zuri Darrell (15th).

St. David's 3 Ireland Rangers 2

At Lords, St. David's moved into the thick of the promotion hunt with a last-gasp 3-2 win over Ireland Rangers.

The home side were awarded a match-clinching penalty in the 89th minute. Otis Minors converted twice from the spot while Landro Minors grabbed Warriors' other. Rangers replied through Andre Outerbridge and Lloyd Telford.

St. George's Colts 2 Paget 0

St.George's kept their own promotion hopes alive with a 2-0 win over Paget at White Hill Field thanks to a Troy Hall penalty and a Gregg Foggo strike.

Prospect 1 X Roads Warriors 1

At Police Field, Prospect's promotion hopes suffered another dent after they were held to a 1-1 draw by X Roads Warriors. Hicham Boukouri put Warriors in front, following up on a missed penalty attempt to slam the ball home, before Jerome Laws equalised.

The match involving Wolves and Social Club scheduled for Devonshire Recreation Club failed to get underway after the latter team showed up for a 3 p.m. kick-off only to learn the game had been rescheduled for 12.30.
