Cuban team official Esebio Diaz has issued a stern warning to his hosts: "We're ready!"

"I think that tomorrow will be a good game with both teams trying to obtain a victory," said Diaz, the Cuban team medic and the only member of the visiting squad to speak fluent English.

"The playing surface at the National Sports Centre is very good and hopefully come tomorrow the rain will have subsided."

Cuba's hopes of success will be riding on the back of striker Felix Crespo, one of his country's hottest goal poachers.

The Cuban striker has hammered in five goals in three qualifying matches to date.

Crespo struck against Aruba and Suriname as Cuba won 5-0 and 2-1 respectively before notching a spectacular hat-trick in his side's 5-0 demolition of the Bahamas at Campo La Polar in Havana.

However, Crespo won't be the only player that Bermuda will have to be mindful of as the threat in attack can come from all areas on a team that has scored 11 goals in three matches.

"The players are in good condition and are certainly ready to play," added Diaz.

Cuba are coached by Manuel Rodrigues.

The winners of the two-leg Bermuda-Cuba clash plus the winners of Central Zone Group B will play in the final qualifying tournament set for Canada from March 26 to 30 when they will be joined by Mexico.
