John Almeida of BAA I rounded out a memorable darts season on Monday night at the Mariners Club when he beat all opposition to become this year?s Champion of Champions.

Almeida enjoyed a perfect 10-0 record, marking the first time anyone has achieved a clean sweep in the competition.

Having moved from Vasco to play in the First Division, Almeida represented Bermuda in the Caribbean Championships last June. Since then he has won the Bermuda Open Singles and was highly placed in the aggregate.

There will be an Executive/Captains meeting at BAA on Wednesday next week, starting at 8 p.m. The annual prize presentation will be held at Mariners Club on June 18 at 8 p.m., tickets $10.
