Dillas falls to sixth

Jarryd Dillas fell to sixth place after the third round of the Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego, California yesterday.

Dillas who started the day in joint second in the 15-17 age group, fell to sixth after shooting a 77 - his worst round of the tournament - to give him a total of 220 so far.

He is now five shots off the pace set by joint leaders South African G. Coetzee and Yuta Ikeda of Japan, who carded a 72 and 69 respectively for a total of 215.

Tyler Marshall missed the cut after carding an 81 for a total of 247, leaving him in 160th place.

Ebonie Burgess shot 86 in the third round of the females' 15-17 division was the worst of her outings so far - her two previous rounds being 85 and Wednesday's 77.

Blair Marshall and Mark Phillips, playing in the 13-14 division, missed the cut.
