Horses pass drug test

Harness racing came through a three horse drug test with flying colours yesterday.Random tests were taken at last weekend's Champion of Champions event involving the three top horses, GV Colonel Spence, Tuxedo's Bowtie and Tell Me About It.Charles Whited, SPCA Inspector and Chairman of the Bermuda Driving Horse and Pony Club's Rules and Officials Committee, said he was delighted to report that the tests, carried out by Cornell University in New York, had returned negative results.
