Following is the grouping for next July's International Cricket Council Trophy competition in Ireland. Countries are shown with their placings in their regional qualifiers. The top five teams will qualify for the 2007 Cricket World Cup.

Group One

Bermuda - Americas 3

Denmark - Europe 4

Ireland - Europe 1

Uganda - Africa 2

UAE - Asia 1

USA - Americas 2

Group Two

Canada - Americas 1

Holland - Europe 2

Namibia - Africa 1

Oman - Asia 2

Scotland - Europe 3

One qualifier from the play-off in Malaysia

First stage: Round-robin series with the top two in either group automatically advancing to the 2007 Cricket World Cup. However, competition proceeds to the second stage to determine tournament positions.

Second stage: Group One winners play Group Two runners-up and Group Two winners plays Group One runners-up (Cluster A); Group One 3rd place plays Group Two 4th place and vice versa (Cluster B); Group One 5th place plays Group Two 6th place and vice versa (Cluster C).

Third stage: Winners of Cluster A play to determine 1st and 2nd places in the tournament; losers of Cluster A play for 3rd and 4th places; winners of Cluster B play for 5th and 6th places; losers of Cluster B play for 7th and 8th places; winners of Cluster C play for 9th and 10th places; losers of Cluster C play for 11th and 12th places.

NB - Winner of the Cluster B final will be 5th overall and will advance to the 2007 Cricket World Cup along with the top four teams.
