Lightbourne hits target for Harriers
If Kidderminster Harriers represent the last roll of the dice for Kyle Lightbourne then his first outing for the Third Division side must have been a six.
For the Bermudian striker, who says he may consider quitting the game if his trial at Aggborough is not successful, scored one and set up another in the 6-0 thrashing of non-league neighbours Boldmere St. Michaels on Saturday.
Admittedly, it was only a pre-season friendly but Lightbourne will have been delighted with his performance in front of the Harriers' watching manager Ian Britton.
Leading 3-1 after the break, the former Macclesfield man was on hand to head home Sam Shilton's inch-perfect cross.
Five minutes before the end and with the Harriers now 5-1 up, another Lightbourne header set Ian Wilding free and he fired under the 'keeper for the sixth.
The Islander was expected to turn out for Kidderminster again today when they take on Premiership newcomers Leicester City in another friendly.
