Mother Teresa on a mission . . .

Mother and masseuse Teresa Perozzi will put her NABC championship belt on the line tonight against mother and masseuse Martha (Sexy Mex) Deitchman.

Crowds are expected to flock to CedarBridge Academy to watch Perozzi defend the title she controversially won last September in Trinidad against Scroller Carrington.

Perozzi (3-2) will be the favourite over her journeywoman Denver-based 39-year-old opponent Deitchman (2-1-8), a mother of three on her first visit to the Island.

?I?m feeling fit and I?m feeling confident,? said Perozzi, whose bout will top a long undercard featuring a variety of amateur bouts including a middleweight clash between Andre Bean and Kejan Trott, a Bermudian Arizona State and Golden Glove champion.

?I guess I?m feeling a mixture of nervousness and excitement, there is quite a lot of pressure fighting in front of your home crowd but that helps in a way.

?I?m looking forward to it and hoping for a controversy free night, and hopefully that will mean knocking her out to make it easier for the judges.?

Deitchman is also talking a big game ahead of tonight?s contest.

?I am going to go out there and do my best and hopefully bring home the belt for my kids,? said Deitchman, a single parent whose three children couldn?t make it over to join her for a world championship attempt.

?She looks good, she looks healthy and I?m just going to go in there and see what she has and then show everyone what I have.

?I know the crowd are going to be with her at first but I am a Latino lady and crowds like Latino girls and I have often won over crowds when I have fought away from home.?
