Bermuda's women bowlers finished eighth out of 17 teams following today's final six games in doubles competition at the Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic.
At the conclusion of the first half of the competition on Saturday, Dianne Bobbie Ingham and June Dill were seventh overall and looking for a strong finish to put them in medal contention.
However, while Ingham put in a stellar performance at the Sebelen Bowling Centre in Santo Domingo yesterday, Dill had somewhat of an off day and this was reflected in their final position.
The pair finished with a total of 2,170 pins, Ingham ranking eighth in the individual standings and Dill 23rd.
The singles event takes place tomorrow.
