I think we can blame nerves for our home defeat on Saturday (0-1 against Doncaster).

We?re just one win away (from automatic promotion) now and I think that got to us a little bit against Doncaster. Playing at home, in a way, probably made it worse.

The crowd are as nervous as the players and things just didn?t quite go our way.

It?s one of those things in football where the game is running against you and you find yourself blaming your bad luck and the referee and everyone else but yourselves.

I think when we went behind we got even more edgy and that didn?t help us at all.

But I?m not worried. We need just one result from the last two games and if we play like we have been doing this season we should have no problem tying things up.

Obviously it would be better for everyone if we can get the business done this weekend (against sixth-placed Swansea City).

I?ve not really had an end of season like this before. In my other promotions, we have either won the title with five or six games left or just scraped into the play-offs at the last minute so I have not had this edgy ?ahead but not that far ahead? situation.

And if we don?t get the win this weekend it will be the first time in my career that I?ll be playing in the last game of the season for a title ? it would be exciting but I?m not sure I want that excitement anymore.

I?m sure it will be fine and I?m keen for us to get the victory we need on Saturday and somehow I think it should be easier away from home.

We?ll have a little bit less pressure and I think we will take something from last week?s defeat and go out there and just get it done.

The gaffer is telling us to just relax and play like we have been all season and I am trying to be a calming influence as well. It is a case of just settling down and getting on with the game and playing our normal way.

It?s important that we get the win now so we don?t have the pressure of going into the final game needing a result.

That?s not how I want the last game ? I want to be able to enjoy the gombeys!

And I have to make sure I score before the end of the season. There are only two games left now and I think I would like to score at least one more goal in my career.

If we win and get promoted I don?t really care who scores but one more would be nice ? it?s the big games where the big players turn up and I want to turn up and hit the back of the net once more before I retire.
