Nusum strikes
John Barry Nusum scored Toronto Lynx?s first goal of the season although his A-league side have yet to record a victory in their opening three games of the season.
The Bermudian striker struck in the 67th minute of the 3-1 defeat to Richmond Kickers, his first goal since his move from the Atlanta Silverbacks.
Nusum, who bagged a brace in the second victory for Bermuda over Nicaragua last month, started on the bench for his new side as they went down 4-0 to the Rochester Raging Rhinos but earned a spot in the starting line-up for the second game.
The 23-year-old also started the season?s third game, a 3-2 defeat to the Virginia Beach Mariners.
Nusum, one of the great hopes for the World Cup qualifier against El Salvador where he could team up with Shaun Goater, is expected to be in the team for this Sunday?s home opener against Rochester at Centennial Park Stadium in Etobicoke.
