On the move ? 22 switch clubs ahead of new season
Bermuda Cricket Board finally released the domestic transfer list yesterday after a hold-up of several weeks because of St. George?s? reluctance to release one of their players to Young Men?s Social Club.
With that dispute now resolved, however, it has been confirmed that a total of 22 players decided to move clubs during the winter, the most notable of whom was national team captain Clay Smith going from St. David?s to Cleveland to assume the role of player-coach.
Other transfers of interest include Dean Minors? move to Flatts, Jacobi Robinson?s return to Somerset after two seasons at Western Stars and veteran Dwight Basden?s defection from Willow Cuts to their West End rivals Somerset.
