St. George's 2 Paget 2

A courageous fightback in the second half saw striker Kyle Jones score twice to allow visiting Paget Lions to snatch a deserved point at Wellington Oval yesterday.

Phillip Bailey put the home team ahead after three minutes and Loren Marshall stretched their lead with solo effort 12 minutes later, drilling the ball home from some 12 yards.

St. George's, with veteran Neil Paynter marshalling their defence, dominated for the remainder of the half but with Bailey and other front players having difficulty in the slippery conditions, Paget escaped further punishment.

Things changed after the interval with Jones pulling a goal back for Paget after 55 minutes. Ten minutes later the same player levelled with a fine effort from just inside the box.

Paget defender Kenneth Outerbridge received his marching orders 10 minutes from the end for foul language.

Devonshire Colts 3 Hamilton Parish 2

A second-half goal from Ryan Evans saved Colts' day at BAA Field.

Forced to start the game with only nine players, Colts still managed to get the upper hand and established a 2-0 lead through Joseph Butterfield and Evans.

But Parish fought back and scored their first through Burton Outerbridge after 38 minutes and another through player-coach Khari Sharrieff two minutes later.

However, the deadlock was broken after 62 minutes when Evans hit the decider.

X Roads 2 Prospect 3

X Roads blew a 2-0 lead, allowing Prospect to respond with three second-half goals to win this clash at Garrison Field.

Clifford Roberts delivered the winner a minute from time, striking home a cross from close range just when a draw seemed inevitable.

Khomeini Talbot put X Roads ahead a minute before the half and Alton Wolfe made it 2-0 after 49 minutes. Roberts pulled one back for Prospect after 66 minutes and after X Roads were reduced to 10 men a minute later when referee Cornell Castle sent off Keimo Smith for foul language the bottom fell out.

Quinton Francis levelled with a good shot after 75 minutes and it was left for Roberts to deliver the killer blow right at the end.

Social Club 4 Wolves 3

Social Club grabbed a 3-0 lead by the interval but eventually had to sweat it out to brush aside a spirited Wolves outfit. Vincent Minors netted twice for Wolves while veteran Marlon Lindsay got the third. Social Club's scorers were unavailable.
