Pearman on course for BPGA title
Ocean View pro Dwayne Pearman remains on course to run away with another Bermuda Professional Golfers? Association title.
In a championship that he has won on numerous occasions over the past two decades, Pearman yesterday fired a one-under-par 70 at Port Royal to add to his opening round of three-under 68.
With a 36-hole total of 138, he leads his nearest rival, Mid Ocean Club?s Chris Garland, by seven shots.
Garland followed his even-par 71 on Tuesday with a round of 74 yesterday.
Pearman so far is the only player in the field to break par on a course where he once worked as assistant pro to Frankie Rabain.
Andrew Trott currently holds down third spot in the 19-player field, five shots behind Garland on 150 (77-73). A further shot back is Kim Swan (76-75?151) who is attempting to resurrect his tournament playing career.
