Pitcher hits longest drive

Phillip Pitcher was the winner of the Re/Max World Long Drive qualifying contest held at St. George's Golf Course on Sunday when he launched his tee shot 310 yards and one foot.
Second was Keith Trott with a drive of exactly 310 yards while Timothy James hit his drive 307 yards followed by Shannon Trott (300 yards), Ray Knight (298) and Wayne Eve and Arthur Cannonier (293).
Tournament winners were Ian Page and David Hunter who combined for a best-ball 52. Ray Knight and S.Morris were a stroke back followed by D.Hines and K.Hines on 54 (by retrogression).
