Premier pair try again
Premier Division soccer returns to BAA Field tonight (8.00) when Wolves and Devonshire Colts will again try to get their twice-postponed league match completed.
Having been called off due to torrential downpours, both teams have had to sit idle for the past two weeks.
While Colts remain very much in the hunt for league honours, their opponents find themselves near the the bottom of the standings.
Afte hoisting the Dudley Eve Trophy just over a month ago, Wolves embarked on a four-game losing skid and to avoid relegation they desperately need to start winning again.Coach Dennis Brown said that his charges understood just what was required of them.
"At this stage of the season we will be approaching every match as though it were a knockout match because they certainly realise what's at stake," Brown said. "Although we are not too far off the top, we can't even look at that right now."
