Harness racing's Bermuda Bred Stakes and Powder Puff Championships were called off yesterday as a result of the day's downpour.

Disappointed fans will now have to wait until Saturday night for the resumption of races as organisers contemplate incorporating yesterday's postponed fixtures into the weekend schedule.

"Unfortunately Harness racing at Vesey Street was called off yesterday because of the adverse conditions," said Driving Horse and Pony Club president, David Lopes.
