Rain has delayed play on the second day. Play was scheduled to start at 10.30 a.m. local time (3.30 a.m. Bda time).

At 10.30 the rain continued to fall heavily over the Gymkhana ground.

As the rain stopped, umpires Tony Hill from New Zealand and Buddhi Pradhan from Nepal inspected the pitch at 11.40 and decided the players should take an early lunch.

No time has been set for play to start with threatening dark clouds still hovering over the ground.
