A second successive round of 69 kept Michael Sims in second place in the current Maverick Tour event in the USA yesterday.

The Bermudian golf pro is tied on six-under 138 with Bobby Collins at Inverrary Country Club (East course) in Lauderhill, Florida.

Sims, 25, will no doubt be eyeing leader Will MacKenzie (13-under 131) as he negotiates the penultimate round today.
